ISPRS TC II mid-tems Symposium took place 11-14 June 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. During this scientific meeting Prof. Dorota Iwaszczuk was presented the 2023 Duane C. Brown Award by representative from the Ohio State University.

German Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (DGPF) organizes in cooperation with the Polish sister society (PTFiT) the event “International Summer School on UAV Photogrammetry, Laser Scanning and Bathymetry – 2024 Szczecin”. Registration is possible until the end of June. The summer school will take place from September 16 – 18, 2024.

At the 2024 annual conference of the German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation in Remagen, the new Executive Board and the new Advisory Board were elected. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dorota Iwaszczuk was elected Vice President of the society. Mona Goebel represents the doctoral students on the DGPF Advisory Board.
