Photogrammetry and remote sensing have a smooth transition between geometry and features in earth sensing. The importance of newly developed methods from e.g. the fields of machine learning, computer vision and data science has been growing rapidly for several years. The application of current methods to diverse photogrammetric and remote sensing data is a central field of our research. In particular, data fusion, processing of point clouds and semantic segmentation are a main focus of our department.
