For the second time, we organized a SUD career day for the students of the interdisciplinary master’s program. The aim of this event is to support and guide students on their way to work as interns, working students or a permanent position in a company in Germany.

At this event presentations were given by Dr. Ute Henning representing the TU SchreibCenter, Dr. Felipe de Souza from the Department of Land Management, as well as a variety of contributions from seven SUD alumni who are already well established in professional life in Germany. In addition to tips and tricks on how to apply for a job and general no-gos of what to avoid, an introduction to potential employers was provided. SUD students were given the opportunity to network with each other and with alumni in many coffee breaks, enjoying drinks and snacks in a pleasant atmosphere.

All intakes (2016 to 2024) of the SUD program ended the day together with an international potluck, with dishes brought in by the students themselves.

We are looking forward to next year's event and would like to thank all SUD graduates, as well as the organizing team including Riad Rassoul and Darsim Zarghamafshar, for their great support and hope to continue this next year.
