Two doctorate procedures successfully completed

The Department of Land Management congratulates Dr. Šaravanja (comprehensive quality management of spatial data infrastructures) and Dr. Schnitzer (geodata infrastructures as a data vehicle for an “Urban Mining Cadastre”) on the successful completion of both of their doctoral procedures today.
The long-standing cooperation between the department and the Frankfurt University of Applied Science (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert Seuß, Professorship for Geoinformation) is thus showing further success. The two doctoral projects were also supported by the Institute for Municipal Geoinformation Systems IKGIS e.V. (www.ikgis.de), in which both partners work together with a large number of partners from practice in the field of geoinformation and land management.
