Start of the new Joint Degree Programme “Sustainable Urban Development”

The new Joint Degree Programme “Sustainable Urban Development” started at the two main universities (Vietnamese-German-University (VGU) in Ho Chi Minh City and TU Darmstadt) with about thirty students. As the course is interdisciplinary, it begins with modules for the adaptation of knowledge for students from different Bachelor's programmes.

In the second semester both groups of students study at the TU Darmstadt, in the third semester at the VGU. The group of students accepted at the TU Darmstadt for the new winter semester is made up of international students. The students come from Bangladesh, Iran, Colombia, Nepal, Pakistan and of course from Germany. A part of the students took part in the excursion to Baden-Baden and informed themselves locally about current challenges of the sustainable urban development of a city like Baden-Baden.
