Shaping mobility together – practical examples & innovation impulses

2024/02/27

How can we accelerate transformation processes and make our cities' mobility fit for the future? Our research associate Benjamin D. Kraff spoke about this last Friday at a public event at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Under the title “Shaping mobility together – practical examples & innovation impulses”, he presented successful concepts from other European cities in the first part of his talk and outlined strategic building blocks for a municipal innovation system in the second part.

The guests included interested citizens and political representatives. The subsequent discussion was lively and constructive, and interest in moving forward increased. However, it takes more than presentations and discussions to transform a city. Important driving factors are:

➡ Political actors & their key positions

➡ Administrative processes & integrated project implementation

➡ Companies & their municipal influence

➡ Media & constructive journalism

➡ Citizens & initiatives

You are also welcome to visit one of our events and remain open to change for a city worth living in.
