“Circular Economy in the Real Estate Industry – Climate Policy Goals and Opportunities for the Economy”.

The IHK invites you to a Jour Fixe on 25 April 2023 on the topic of circular economy in the real estate industry. During this event, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Linke (Department of Land Management and Spatial and Infrastructure Planning, TU Darmstadt) and Prof. Dr. rer. Nat. Liselotte Schebek (Department of Material Flow Management and Resource Management, TU Darmstadt) will provide an insight into current research topics and results with regard to the significance and potential of the circular economy in the reuse and recycling of building materials and construction materials. Based on practical projects for the development of a sustainable and circular construction industry, relevant approaches of existing structures, newly conceived concepts, potential obstacles in the implementation as well as conceivable future business fields will be presented and subsequently discussed.
