SWR Aktuell: Sustainable urban development in Mainz

In Mainz, the current election for mayor is the focus of media attention. Major challenges, such as making the building sector climate-neutral and also advancing the urban mobility revolution, will dominate municipal day-to-day business in the future. The city of Mainz had decided on climate neutrality by 2035 by city council resolution.

Our research assistant Benjamin D. Kraff has put in a nutshell. In an interview on SWR News, he comments on both the building sector and mobility in the capital of Rhineland-Palatinate.
