Statistical Methods in Real Estate Appraisal – Geodetic Colloquium

2022/12/22

On December 15, the Geodetic Colloquium welcomed Dr. Matthias Soot from the Technical University of Dresden. He introduced the interested audience to his current research results on the use of statistical methods, which include new findings in the use of incomplete data sets in real estate appraisal as well as spatial evaluation methods and artificial neural networks. Finally, he presented the concept he is pursuing for a multi-sensor system in real estate valuation. In the following intensive discussion, the presented results and ideas were critically scrutinized and jointly explored with regard to possible further development approaches. Mr. Diddens from DVW thanked Mr. Soot with a small present for the interesting explanations.
