The 20th International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging, and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications (VISIGRAPP 2025) took place from February 26-28, 2025, in Porto, Portugal. VISIGRAPP is an international scientific event focusing on the latest advancements in computer vision, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, and information visualization.

Our team, represented by Qipeng Mei and Prof. Dorota Iwaszczuk, supported by our external collaborators Kevin Qiu and Dr. Dimitri Bulatov from Fraunhofer IOSB, participated in the conference. We contributed with two insightful presentations:

• Ground Awareness in Deep Learning for Large Outdoor Point Cloud Segmentation – Presented by Kevin Qiu

• Polygonizing Roof Segments from High-Resolution Aerial Images Using Yolov8-Based Edge Detection – Presented by Qipeng Mei

In addition, Dr. Bulatov and Mr. Qiu served as session chairs. Dr. Bulatov led through session on Animation and Simulation on Wednesday, while Kevin Qiu chaired the session on Geometry and Texture on Friday afternoon.

The conference provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and offered a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new colleagues. We look forward to applying the knowledge gained and continuing our research endeavors.
