The event has been bringing together leading experts and organisations from the space sector for three years in order to promote cooperation and exchange. Inspiring keynote speeches provided insights into current developments and future trends in the space sector. An exciting moderated panel discussion focussed on the current legal situation and the challenges facing the space sector. There were also elevator pitches in which space expertise and innovations from Hessen were presented.

The conference covered a variety of important topics, including the organisation of space stakeholders, the legal framework for the use of space, strategies to deal with the increasing amount of space debris, measures to secure the space infrastructure against threats and improving the resilience of space technologies.

Our participation in ‘Hessen in Space’ was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with other stakeholders. We look forward to incorporating the knowledge gained into our future projects and teaching.
